Hello and welcome to Lord Fenton Gaming Plays The Outer Worlds. I am your host Lord Fenton. In today's The Outer Worlds side quest video guide, I am going to show you all how to complete Who Goes There Side Quest both methods. Yes that is right I am going to show everyone how to complete The Outer Worlds Who Goes There Side Quest. In this side quest you suppose to kill Captain Macredd. Yes in The Outer Worlds Captain Macredd is targeted to be killed. Please note this quest you can do along with Happiness is a warm spaceship side quest too. This way you can combine the two together. I did put both methods. The Kill all method is to get his unique weapon the Montag. The other method you have to steal it from him HOWEVER no killing and this method I prefer to use on SuperNova Difficulty. Yes you heard me I've put in a method to survive doing this side quest on The Outer Worlds highest difficulty in the game. So let's get to the guide and get started. NOTE: I am showing off BOTH methods of completing this quest. First SuperNova Difficulty for the peaceful method. Kill all method to easily get the Montag. This will answer the question of Captain Macredd kill or not kill.

Talk to this NPC in the restricted area OR outside of it - 0:49
Map Where to go - 2:53

NOTE: I am doing the peaceful/You Should do this on SuperNova Difficulty solution. You need Dialog skill OTHERWISE it would be hard to do.

Peaceful solution - 3:15
Lie and turn in Who Goes There Side Quest via peaceful method - 5:37

NOTE: This method if you want the Montag Unique Weapon. This is great if you are not on SuperNova Difficulty.

Start of the kill all method - 6:24
Speak with Captain Macredd to start the fight - 6:44
Loot The Outer Worlds Montag Unique Weapon here and quest item - 8:31
Turn in and no Dialog required - 9:15


That is how you turn in the quest both ways. Peaceful if you hate violence or on a higher difficulty. Kill em all method for the Montag Unique Weapon.
