I am the owner of True Value Auto Group LLC I have done business with Manheim Auto Auction on and off for about 5 years...
I say on and off cause sometimes this auction really tees me off!!
I'm a lil sick of there "car on call" system they have!
That system cripples dealers from other purchases they may want to make because they may have there entire budget invested into cars that are "on call".
I want to know right then when I bid if I won the bid or not, not 7 hours later!!!😡
Also we shouldn't have to pay for Cars that doesn't have titles present....we should have to pay when titles are present!!
You guys are running an auction that serves dealers only but these prices that your sellers are asking are sometimes completely unreasonable.....
If your sellers have a firm number maybe you guys should post that on the car instead of having us waste time, checking out cars and bidding on them.
I bid $1000 on a car that no one wanted...car had high miles, ripped seats, and check engine light....the seller countered at $2700!!
If they want to sell retail maybe they should pay for a craigslist ad!!
Alot of dealers are sick of this!!
Honestly I think it may lead to me organizing my own auctions that will be more dealer friendly....
If possible I would like to speak to someone with authority on these issues, I just want to see if there is a possible solution.
I know I'm just one voice but I represent many...
Please find away to change how u guys operate, would love to continue business with you guys but this system sucks!!
