The First Recorded Example Of A Double Rook Sacrifice

In this video I am analyzing a famous chess game which is known as the first recorded game where double rook sacrifice was made! This casual game was played between English doctor Thomas Bowdler (best known for publishing The Family Shakespeare, an expurgated edition of William Shakespeare's plays) and British general and statesman Henry Conway! After accepting the double rook sacrifice, Black fails to find the most precise defensive line, accepts the knight sacrifice as well, and falls victim to White's aggressive attack!
