'Return of the Daylight' - SP 4449 Returning from Railfair 1981

Old railfan video capturing SP 4449 traveling back to Portland, Oregon after visiting Los Angeles, California, and Railfair 1981 in Sacramento. My father purchased a bunch of these videos in the late 1970's and early 1980's to fuel my young interest in railroading. The song in this video was very appealing to my then four year-old self.

Video also includes shots of SP commuter trains around San Francisco, the Amtrak Coast Starlight at numerous locations, the Daylight Diesel park train in Balboa Park, and Gene Autry's Daylight live steamer operating at Griffith Park Travel Town.
