High temps and severe storm keep fire engines rolling July 17, 2019 brought soaring temperatures into the upper 90's during the day. Shortly after 3pm Delmar Fire Dept responded to Laurel for a reported house fire. The first part of this video shows units leaving the firehouse.

Later that same afternoon severe thunderstorms fired up bringing heavy call volume in both Wicomico County, Maryland and Sussex County, Delaware. The second part of the video shows DFD units responding to calls in both States at the same time. Units roll out of the fire station, some going to Maryland for a tree onto a house and some going to Delaware for a reported house fire.
