CASTRO: TRUE STORY ABOUT HIS M!$$!N KEPT $£CR£TT R£V£ḀLL£D - ANAMON IS SURE OF HIS RETURN

CASTRO'S DISAPPEARANCE; HIS FATHER GIVES ALL DETAILS 5 YEARS ON

Saturday, July 6, 2019 marked exactly five years Ghanaian Hiplife musician, Theophilus Tagoe otherwise known as Castro in Showbiz and friend Janet Bandu mysteriously disappeared while on holiday at Ada.

According to the laws of the country, the two will officially be declared dead in 2021 if they are not found with lingering doubts about their survival according to close ally and General Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan

This has also heightened conflicting reports as to whether the musician is still alive or died alongside the girlfriend who was riding on the Jet Ski at Ada towards the estuary on the said date.

Black Stars Skipper, Asamoah Gyan who is a close pal to the musician, believes he is no more but said he cannot go ahead and perform his funeral rites simply because the law requires that a missing person can be declared dead after seven years.

According to him, two deities he consulted in the heat of Castro’s disappearance all confirmed that the musician was no more.

He is therefore inclined to believe that Castro is dead.

Recounting events surrounding Castro’s disappearance, Gyan said: That was the first time they went to Aqua Safari and that in the previous years, they went to Akosombo.

That particular year, the yacht at Akosombo was broken down so they decided to go to Ada.

“A day before we went to Ada, he [Castro] came to my house and said he was on his way to Kumasi and would not join us.

But whilst we were on our way to Ada, on the Accra-Tema motorway, we received a phone call that “Under” [Castro] wants us to wait for him. We parked at a fuel station where a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of me. I later got the inclination it was destined to happen because he was initially not part of the trip. When we got to Ada, everything went fine. We were to spend three days, but ended up using the Jet Ski on the second day”

Others, who are holding a contrary view, believe his disappearance could be linked to a popularity stunt that has gone bad.

A number of colleague musicians are still hopeful Castro will return but when and how remains the mystery puzzle.

In all this, celebrity lawyer Maurice Ampaw wants police to arrest Asamoah Gyan to provide the whereabouts of the musician though he fell short to give a reason for his stance on the matter.

It’s been 5 years since the mysterious disappearance of Hiplife Musician Theophilus Tagoe, known in showbiz as Castro or Castro Under Fire at Ada.

Castro was on vacation with Ghanaian Footballer Asamoah Gyan and friends when it was reported that he had drowned at the Ada Estuary.

According to reports, Castro was riding a Jet Ski with a friend Janet Bandu when the incident happened but the Jet Ski was recovered without the bodies of Castro and Janet.

Speaking to Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii on Kofi TV, Castro’s father indicated that he does not want to dwell too much on what the laws or people like Asamoah Gyan who was with Castro before his disappearance are saying.

According to him, Asamoah Gyan as a friend to his son only went on vacation with him and that does not make him a family member neither does it make him the spokesperson nor the mouthpiece for the family.

“Ask him how many times he has got into contact with the family after Castro disappearance,” he quizzed.

When asked whether he has made some spiritual consultation, Castro’s father stated that as a Christian all his burdens had been cast upon the Lord.

He said since the disappearance of Castro, it has not been easy for him because of how they relate to each other.

“On Fathers’ Day, on my birthday, he is the first person to call….so just put yourself in my shoes. It has not been easy. The battle is the Lord’s,” he added.
