Os Santos Populares de Quarteira atraem à marginal um mar de gente, que aprecia os trajes, as músicas e as coreografias dos grupos participantes. O desfile das Marchas Populares é um dos mais típicos e característicos eventos culturais que se realizam na cidade de Quarteira.

Nos três dias de festividades – St. António, S. Pedro e S. João – centenas de Quarteirenses marcham para uma plateia de milhares de pessoas que ano após ano transforma este evento num dos maiores do género a sul do País.

Participam nesta edição as seguintes Marchas: Marcha Fundação António Aleixo; Rua Vasco da Gama; Florinhas de Quarteira; Rua Poeta Pardal; Rua do Outeiro; Rua da Cabine e Rua Gago Coutinho.

The Popular Saints of Quarteira attract to the marginal a sea of people, who appreciates the costumes, the songs and the choreographies of the participating groups. The Marches Populares parade is one of the most typical and characteristic cultural events that take place in the city of Quarteira.

On the three days of festivities - St. Anthony, St. Peter and St. John - hundreds of Quarteira march to an audience of thousands who year after year make this event one of the largest of its kind in the south of the country.
