Rain and fire sounds represent natural sources of white noise and impulse noise together. Compared to Rain Noise, the noise of a fire offers sharper transients - the crackling - and a darker, warmer white noise that can only be heard in the lower register. Instead of pure white noise, some people listen to natural rain noise noticeably cooling down during the summer, and fire noise as the days get darker and colder.
