WATCH: Articles of impeachment against Trump approved by House Judiciary Committee

WATCH: Articles of impeachment against Trump approved by House Judiciary Committee The House Judiciary Committee voted along party lines to approve the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Dec. 13 and send them to the full House of Representatives for a vote. Democrats filed two articles of impeachment against Trump -- abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Republicans attempted to lessen the severity of the charges though a number of amendments to the articles during a 14-hour long hearing the day before the final vote, but Democrats voted them down. The House is expected to vote on the articles of impeachment in the coming days.
