Still at Atlanta Air Charter and today we’re checking out one of the aircraft they use in their fleet, The King air 200. They actually own and fly 4 of these planes.
I’ve always been fascinated with the King air. If you see one in person, you may understand why. It truly is a beautiful airplane. King air 200 are produced by Beechcraft, the sam aircraft company that brought you the Baron. Consider the King air as the larger and much faster big brother with turboprop engines.
The King air 200 uses 2 Pratt & Whitney 850 SHP engines. The model shown in this video can seat up to 8 people with enough ample space for baggage. The aircraft will take you over 1000 miles at a respectable speed of 300 mph. Most King air 200s are still selling in the range of about $1.5 million to $2.5 million.
