Eating Indian Food from Toronto's Best Rated Indian Restaurant (and we tried Indian Fast Food!)

Eating Indian Food from Toronto's Best Rated Indian Restaurant (and we tried Indian Fast Food!) In August of 2019, we visited A Taste of India, a food festival in Toronto, Canada and filmed ourselves trying a number of different Indian food dishes. The response to that video has been incredible, far beyond what we ever dreamed. We thought it was necessary to do an update video, one where we push our tastebuds with 7 types of curries, some tandoori, all the bread you can eat fresh out of the Tandoor oven, and some sweets to finish.

We wanted to see what Toronto's Best Rated Indian restaurant on TripAdvisor was like, so we decided to place a large order to Bindia Indian Bistro . We also got Indian fast food from Hurry Curry, a fast food chain here in Toronto. When it was all done, we ended up with enough food to last us over 5 days!

We tried, first from Hurry Curry (fast food):

[7:54] Coconut Chicken Curry
[8:12] Goat Curry
[8:19] Chana Masala - curry made with chickpeas
[8:36] Aloo Gobi - curry made with potatoes, cauliflower, and Indian spices
[8:49] Dal Makhani - black lentils and red kidney beans
[9:06] Palak Paneer - spinach puree and paneer

The dishes we tried from the Bindia Indian Bistro, Toronto's Best Rated Indian Restaurant:

[9:33] Dal Makhani - black lentils and red kidney beans
[9:33] Coconut Fish Curry
[10:23] Vegetable Pakora - mixed vegetables battered and fried
[10:57] Tandoori Chicken

Desert:

[11:30] Gulab Jamun - milk dumplings in a warm, sweet syrup
[12:12] Mango Lassi - mango and yogurt smoothie
[12:29] Kheer - traditional rice pudding with milk, raisons and cardamom

We are a couple of full-time travel dreamers, always dreaming of the next adventure. We always look for the beauty in places we visit, and hope to share all of the amazing experiences we have, the delicious food that we eat, the beautiful cultures that we find, and the friendly people from countries across the world that we meet along the way.

We want to show that incredible travel experiences don't have to break the bank, and that anyone can travel if they put enough effort into budgeting for it. We travel because we love the experience, and we want to share that passion with the world.
