This 3D printed LS3 engine crate is designed to go with the working Chevy LS3 Engine model created by ericthepoolboy on thingiverse.com. This crate has been designed to be printed on a 220 by 220 printer. Some of the planks will need to be stood on end and rotated by 45 degrees to fit on this small printer. The crate is assembled into three parts: the base which holds the engine, the four sided box which can be lifted, and the removable top. Each of the main assemblies is connected by the same magnet disc pairs as the LS3 engine design. All of the printed planks are intended to be bolted together with M3 socket head screws. I printed my option 2 design with two shades of wood colored PLA
