Artist Bio: Energetic punk rock, combined with a DIY attitude and a lot of heart and sweat, straight from the streets of hinterland Bavaria into your brain - that is Rather Raccoon. Well-considered, zeitgeisty and criticising lyrics composed in English complement the music, which is deeply rooted in the 70s yet at the same time inspired by the soundtrack of the first videogames of the 'Tony Hawk' series. Catchy sing-along hook lines and ever propulsive beats no one can resist! It has been ten years since Phil, Liza, Ingis and Matze started their journey not only through their home country but the whole of Europe. 'Low Future' (Wolverine Records), their recently published first full-length album, features a variety of new influences sound wise, however it is still all cooked up in typical Rather Raccoon fashion - and that means it is a very hot punk rock stew!
