The topic of my presentation was how human impact has had an effect on climate change during the past 50 years. During this presentation, I talked about the two different sides of the climate change argument. These two sides consist of those who acknowledge climate change and those who are skeptical of it even happening. Then I briefly talk about factors of climate change and how certain variables, such as economy, play into how the earth is treated. I created this presentation for English 1010 as part of our final project. I chose this topic because I feel that it is something that everyone should take the time to think about because it is such a present issue in our society. I feel very strongly on this issue because there is only a certain amount of time left before the damage that is made to the planet is irreversible. That is why it is important to educate people on the issue of climate change now, rather than wait for it to be too late. During my presentation, I was surprised to find out how many people choose to turn their backs on this issue. By that I mean that people are aware of global warming and climate change, but don’t do anything about it. Society has yet to make substantial changes to our way of life, and that needs to happen soon. Thank you for watching my video!
