Democratic 2020 presidential contender Senator Kamala Harris has faced criticism about her background as a prosecutor ever since she launched her campaign. PBS NewsHour's Yamiche Alcindor traveled to South Carolina, where black voters make up the majority of Democratic primary voters, and asked Harris about feeling “hurt” by push back on her track record as well as her plan to change the perception by some that she did not embrace progressive criminal justice reform efforts enough.
