House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Republican lawmakers speak to reporters after the State Department has directed Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, not to appear before House committees seeking information about his activities, according to a statement by his attorney.
