Smoked Fish Dip Without a Smoker, Catch And Cook Spanish Mackerel We caught four nice size Spanish Mackerel in the surf. I decided to try making some smoked fish dip even though I don't have a smoker and I'd never done this before. This catch and cook adventure actually worked out well producing fun memories and some EXCELLENT fish dip.

✅Here's What You Will Need

1. Grill
2. Charcoal
3. Wood chips for smoking ( I used oak I picked up on the ground and cherry wood chips I'd purchased)
4. 8 Spanish Mackerel fillets
5. 8 ounces of whipped cream cheese
6. 5 ounces of sour cream
7. 2 blades of celery
8. 1 jalapeno pepper
9. 1 ounce lemon juice
10. 1/4 yellow onion
11. Your favorite seasonings

✅Here Are The Fish Dip Steps

1. Smoke the fish
2. Finely chop the fruit and veggies
3. Remove the fish skin and blood line
4. Mix every thing together

During the fall larger fish congregate along the SW Florida beaches to feed on the schools of Pilchards. When you find the birds and Greenback Shiners, you'll most likely catch some Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish Spanish Mackerel in that area.
