Rationalization of Fare Structure of Humsafar Express Trains Sleeper Class Coach Facility Provided in Humsafar Express Trains
For the convenience of rail passengers, Railways have decided to attach sleeper class coaches also in Humsafar Express Trains in addition to AC 3 tier coaches and rationalized the fare structure of these trains.
Highlights of rationalized fare structure are as under:-
Sleeper class coaches have been attached in Hamsafar express trains in addition to AC 3 Tier class coaches already running in Hamsafar trains.
Train nos. 12275/12276 (New Delhi-Allahabad) and 22437/22438 (Anand Vihar Terminal-Allahabad) are the first two Hamsafar express trains in which sleeper class coaches (GSCN-4) have been attached from 14.09.2019.
Base fare of these trains is 1.15 times of the base fare of Mail/Express trains fare.
Tatkal fare will be as per normal Tatkal rule i.e. Hamsafar Base fare + Normal Class wise Tatkal charges.
Bulk booking shall be allowed at any point of time within the Advance Reservation Period (ARP) on Tatkal fare for normal accommodation for that class.
Normal cancellation and refund rules shall apply.
