UFC strawweight Maycee Barber sits down with UFC’s Brendan Fitzgerald ahead of her fight in Boston on October 18th where she will fight Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Night. Barber talks about how her professional career started in Colorado and has come to Wisconsin where she trains with coach Duke Roufus. Barber discusses the challenges of balancing being an aspiring pro fighter and going to high school. She also explains her biggest long-term goal, in which she hopes to be the youngest UFC champion in history, currently held by Jon “Bones” Jones at 23 years and 8 months. Barber explains why she must be selfish to reach her goal of being a UFC champion because she believes it's about the work she puts in.
