How to Modify and Upgrade a Budget Guitar, On a Budget! Part 2. Paint, Tuners, Nut, String Tree.

How to Modify and Upgrade a Budget Guitar, On a Budget! Part 2. Paint, Tuners, Nut, String Tree. This is part 2 of a 4 part series on how to upgrade and mod a budget guitar on the cheap. Total cost of all upgrades should come in at less than $200. In part one we stripped and painted the body.

In part 2 we'll work on the neck and replace the nut, string trees and tuners. Also paint the headstock. This is a complete overhaul of this guitar. If you wish to do this to a guitar of yours, please follow along. Or, if you wish to do just one of these upgrades, they're all included in the job and how to do it.

I'm not a guitar tech by any means. I like to tinker, and I'm not afraid of my guitars, haha. Nor should you be. This stuff is generally not that hard to do.

Hope this helps you out in some way.

Cheers, Kelly

I'm always looking for parts and new gear, and any help in that regard would be greatly appreciated.
