Brexit Minister THRASHED by Barry Sheerman: 'Half an hour ago, I did not know who you are'

UK's Brexit Minister James Duddridge has updated the House of Commons on the government's Brexit plan.

Labour MP Barry Sheerman takes a dig at the junior minister saying that "until about half an hour ago I had no idea who he was".

He then criticises the answers James Duddridge has given to the Commons, asking how "he can be so deeply unpleasant" to MPs, and claim it is "not legitimate to stand up for your constituents" when asking about the PM's proposals.

"Some of us would vote for deal if we could see it," he adds, "if we weren't living in a secret society and secret state."

But Mr Duddridge says he is "flabbergasted" Mr Sheerman doesn't know who he is, as he had asked him a question before.
