Borim locals have demanded that the Govt should construct a new bridge instead of spending much money on maintaining the old one.They have informed that Government had already spent Rs 11 Cr on repair works 2 years ago. Public Works Department has currently started repair works of the bridge regulating traffic for 10 days. The 33 year old bridge has been taken up for repair time and again.
