3 Reasons Why the Rey Palpatine Fan Theory May be True

Three reasons that Rey might really be a Palpatine—to sum things up— there’s already a precedent for Palpatine’s grandchild to help the Rebel forces defeat the Empire; George Lucas had plans to tell a story about Palpatine’s love gone wrong that led to his fall to the dark side—so what if he actually did have a family? The third reason— if Rey were a Palpatine, it would be the reverse of Luke’s story in the Original Saga— instead of attempting redeem Darth Vader without fighting, Rey will have to find a way to defeat the Emperor without falling to the dark side herself.
