The Question Isn't Moral Ability But Moral Foundations - Sober Skeptic

The Question Isn't Moral Ability But Moral Foundations - Sober Skeptic As Christians, our desire should always be to operate on the side of truth and fairness. So when we make claims about non-believers that aren't truth we are failing in our charge.

"Those godless heathens can't be trusted! They don't believe in God and so they might murder us at the drop of a hat!" Or whatever over the top movie exaggeration you want to put in there.

So we want to be clear when it comes to the subject of morality. We aren't saying that an atheist CAN'T be moral. What we want to say is that atheists don't have a BASIS for objective moral claims.
