Phonics Teaching Strategy #5 Consonants, Consonant Letter Sounds, Voiced and Unvoiced Sounds

This video focuses on the letter sounds of the voiced and unvoiced consonant pairs. To make the learning multi-sensory, I share some kinesthetic teaching strategies to help students distinguish between consonants that can easily be confused. I talk a bit more about kinesthetic learning in my video, “Phonics Teaching Strategy #4 Short Vowels.

These strategies can be helpful for not only ESL students but any students learning how to read, including students with dyslexia.
