Sewing a 1940s Blouse and Skirt, Suspenders and Cummerbunds and Puff sleeves Oh My!

Sewing a 1940s Blouse and Skirt, Suspenders and Cummerbunds and Puff sleeves Oh My! Hello
In this video I'm following an original early 1940s Du Barry sewing pattern for a puff sleeve blouse and suspender skirt with a cummerbund style waistband. This is the first blouse I've ever made and (spoiler alert) it went surprisingly well. With Special guest appearances from Tommy (Meow)...

The blouse is made from an old bed sheet so I do feel rather make do and mend when wearing it!

Thank you for clicking on this video.

My goal is to have a complete vintage style wardrobe. containing both true vintage and me sewn items.

I know my videos are not the best but I've just started this journey and like to think each video is better than the last. Thank you for your patience

Best Wishes
Rebecca xx
