Fanatec CSL Elite P1 Wheel not detected anymore and behaves erratically

Was working fine last night. But today it is not working.

Symptoms:

- The red
power button LED is flashing on and off.
- The display is showing corrupted text.
- Does not respond to any button presses.
- The fan in the wheelbase comes on
initially when I power on but goes off after several seconds.
- The software shows the following screen:



What I tried
- Power on and off (several times)
- Try another USB power
- Not plug into the PC
- Try another
PC
- Reinstall the wheel (when the wheel is off and if I powered the wheelbase on, the power LED stays lit)

Opened an RMA ticket via support. They said they wanted to bring it into the factory for testing. They said it's more than likely the problem is with the steering wheel, not the wheelbase because it goes through the calibration just fine. Let's see how it goes. I guess I won't be racing for a while.
