Back to School Apartment Makeover Part 1

Lily is moving in my the apartment with me. Last year Laura moved in with me, but this year Lily and Laura are switching and I am helping design both of their room spaces. This is part 1 of my room redecorating. 1) We cleaned out the room - there was so much junk that we needed to clean out and donate. Once the space was de-cluttered we decided to 2) Paint the walls rather than putting up wallpaper. 3) picked out furniture - we used some furniture from other parts of the house and then we got some office from IKEA that we designed on the website. 4) Assemble the furniture - Lily went to Ikea with my mom and got the office furniture and mom assembled it. Laura had her friends come over and help her arrange her things in the new room.
