FAQ 003267 | How are the long-term losses taken into account with consideration of creeping and s... Question:

How are the long-term losses taken into account with consideration of creeping and shrinkage, relaxation of the prestressing steel and with respect to the elastic deformation in RF-TENDON or RF-TENDON Design?

Answer:

Long-term losses are taken into account in the external RF-TENDON Design add-on module immediately prior to the design process. The internal forces in the considered design sections are recalculated by applying the long-term losses. The detailed results and the individual components of the losses can be followed in "Action Phase".
