Blast at Pharmaceuticals Factory in Dera Bassi, Casualties Feared

A powerful blast was on Wednesday reported at the Punjab chemicals and pharamceuticals ltd factory in Dera Bassi in which 10 workers were injured.

Out of the 10 injured, five workers were taken for treatment to a hospital in Chandigarh and the rest were taking treatment in Dera Bassi.

A unit of the factory was completely destroyed, however, the damages were yet to be assessed.
