Rock Pigeon in the Snug Hideout ドバトが排気口フード内に潜伏【冬の野鳥】

A rock dove (aka rock pigeon; Columba livia, family Columbidae) was spotted hiding inside a range hood exhaust vent on the wall. I don't know if it was just a safe (warm) shelter, nightly roost or a nesting site. As I intently looked it up, the pigeon became uneasy and eventually flew off. Captured in the afternoon (15:52 pm) of mid-March 2019 in Japan.
