Pre menstural dysphoric disorder is a severe mood disorder that coincides with the menstural cycle. An estimated 5.5% of women of reproductive age have PMDD. An estimated 90% of PMDD sufferers are thought to be undiagnosed or misdiagnosed with other mood disorders like bipolar disorder.
