I wrote the song for this original soundtrack for the Ramadan film titled "As far as we go" by Almosafer that I have written and directed too. The song is a tribute to the true spirit of Ramadan, as seen through the eyes of a child.
It’s a song describing what the child wishes for, for the true spirit of Ramadan, as the child travels the world to share that spirit in a place that hasn't experienced Ramadan - yet.
And it is hence, an embodiment of the core idea behind the film: The true spirit of Ramadan travels as far as we go.

Lyrics:
I wish I could stop this world from turning.
I wish that time slowed down.
I wish you'd think about returning.
I wish you'd stay here with me.
I wish the world could see what you mean to me.
I wish I could take you as far as I go...
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
I wish we could go down strange new roads.
I wish I could keep you safe with me.
I wish everyone made you feel as loved.
I wish everyone saw what I see in you.
I wish I could take you as far as I go...
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
I wish I could stop this world from turning.
I wish that time slowed down.
I wish the world could see what you mean to me.
I wish I could take you as far as I go.
I wish I could take you as far as we go...
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
Ooo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo
Oo-oo-oo-oo
