Italian dictator Benito Mussolini was considered to be the founder of fascism, and is also thought to have inspired other dictators like Adolf Hitler. After forming his fascist party, Mussolini became the Prime Minister of Italy in 1922 and stayed on as dictator till 1943 when he was dismissed by the King following heavy reverses suffered by Italy in World War II.
