How often do we have federal elections? It seems like they come around pretty regularly don't they? They're every three years but they're not on a set date every three year. The prime minister has the flexibility to choose when about three years is up when to go and call an election and there's always a lot of speculation about when is it going to be when are they going to call it and it's very exciting if you're in to that sort of thing.
